Lists of new books can be found on the Intermediate Bulletin Board and on the wall near Room 18.

Students have access to a computerized catalogue which is proving to be very helpful when doing research. In addition, we now have a computer with Internet access to further assist them.

  RESEARCH - How to....

Visit this Kentucky website with your child to learn how to do research. This site has what young children need.   Click here Help with how to research.

- Finding information...

Our School Board is paying for the right to use the Grolier Online information site. All York Region students may use the site at home or at school Click here: Information and in the username box, type in lowercase letters yrdsb and in the password box, type in lowercase letters home.  Then click on the database you want to search.

It is very expensive to replace lost books which is why a letter is sent home once a book is overdue for more than 2 months. Like the Public Libraries, we have no choice but to charge for books that aren't returned. If the book is later found and returned, the payment will be refunded.
